Given the recent pandemic and influx of multi-cultural needs for staff and clients, the company has seen an influx in the need for business translation services and support.
Let’s hear the success stories of how Clear Voice has demonstrated its quality, expertise, and close work with interpreters to deliver the most superior support service.
JRS
With the help of Clear Voice, Naomi, our Destitution Caseworker, was able to assist Simona (not a rea name) in applying for housing and financial support, as well as liaising with legal advisors and maintaining frequent contact with her. Simona was a refused asylum seeker and a victim of domestic violence who was heavily pregnant when she first approached JRS. She was facing imminent homelessness. Without the regular assistance of Clear Voice interpreters, it would not have been possible for Naomi to support Simona in this way. Additionally, Clear Voice gave JRS a discount on their services which allowed them to have more crucial conversations with beneficiaries, progress with complex casework and fund their programmes, including their hardship grants to destitute refugees.’
Dr Yusuf Ciftci, Policy and Advocacy Officer, Doctors of the World
Hundreds of thousands of non-English speakers in the UK face a range of barriers to accessing information and advice on COVID-19, such as language, having no access to information sources, having no access to interpreters, fear of discrimination, lack of trust and fear of authorities. In the absence of regularly updated translated information, Doctors of the World started producing translated guidance on COVID-19 in 20 languages with great support from Clear Voice Interpreting Services. From the very first guidance published in March 2020, just before the UK went into its first lockdown, they have been pleased to work with Clear Voice who were ready to go an extra mile in providing professional, quality translations in a timely manner. So far, their translated COVID-19 guidance has been downloaded more than 60,000 times, meaning that essential information to stay safe from the virus has reached a considerable amount of people in 46 different languages.
